The SunCare Program
Sun Chemical Corporation is one of the largest chemical manufacturing companies in the world--the largest manufacturer of printing inks, coatings, and organic pigments in the graphic arts industry. For our more than 160-year history, we have been aware of the impact that our products and manufacturing practices have had on our environment, our employees, and the communities in which we and our families live and work, as well as the impact that our products have had on your environment and your employees' health and welfare. It is impossible, in the worldwide market in which we responsibly participate, to be otherwise. Over the years, working with our consultants at ENVIRON International Corporation, we have developed systems, procedures, protocols, and strategies that have enabled us to meet and exceed all of our environmental, health and safety, and risk management objectives. Together with our ENVIRON consulting partners, we are now offering this tried and tested system to our partners in the graphic arts industry as the SunCare Environmental Services (ES) program.
